weekends~

i thought i blog alot on wk ends coz my wk days are always burnt out. LITERALLY.
i stayed back this fri, AGAIN, in L3
scrubbed up from 2pm - 8pm, freaking 6hrs okay.
i just hate it, why cant some people manage their planning properly to avoid this kinda stress on innocent people! rarrrrr.
okay la, at least Prof was nice to me. hahahaha.

no movie this wk end coz we woke up tooo late.
i went down to chinatown to get some stuff!
ate some yummy street food on the way but i dint get to eat my dim sum! =C
wanted to go to my usual Swaston (sounds like fake Watsons. lol), but BF told me Ocean was more of a bargain.

Hot tomato was newly opened? or rather its the 1st time i was walking past it. haha.
looked as if it had cheap food, and we dined in.

OMG, i ordered fish n chips! lol
they dint have chicken chop or meaty dishes not served with pasta
fish and chips was the only other option i had in mind.
its only $7.60 okay!
just look at the portion!! 2 big pieces of fish which i only ate 1 of it. HAAHA

i loved the mushroom soup + the small piece of garlic bread

but i still cant eat my beloved organic + healthy nuts =/
im happy, yet sad.
so happy that i can eat again, but sad coz it means my diet plan is sitting on the fence!

DAY 1 - i culdnt even chew on a small piece of grapes
DAY 2 - instant cereal diet
DAY 3 - REAL FOOD.
again, it always happens, i am always putting on weight during the wk ends! booooohooooooo.
miracles always happen on wk ends when BF books out!

SAT, we went over to tiong baru for a lunch Porridge Buffet @ Rajah Inn
super cheap, $6.90+ per head, even on wk ends
@ 1115am, we walked past, it was still closed, empty
1130am, just opened! there were so many families inside eating already!!

but in 3D? i was okay okay~ dont watch in 3D i also okay

NOOO way. it wld not be my choice coz i did not have any gd/nice memories of 3D movie frm yrs ago. i still rmb they gave us 3D glasses made of plastic lens and paper frames. how great could 3D be, seriously?
but since he wanted to watch it in 3D so badly, okay lo! he treat!

watch it in 3D coz it really rocks!
its a total different experience which i did not regret.
the effects were superb! it was like directly in my eyes and i could almost feel the water droplets splash on my eyes. LOL
no exaggerating, but its really GOOODDD!

i wish i could dance tooo.
dancing like them is really sexy!
and dancing is alsooooo romantic la!!
only if i could dance to find loveeee. LOL.

like how Luke found Natalie.
sooo sweet, they make a gd pair.

not forgetting how Moose and Camille got tgt

dancing is always entertaining.
but to make a dance show, it takes more than that.
the great dance choreography is breathless and it makes me wana sway along with them. LOL
plus plus the 3D, it makes this show PERFECT!~

i figured out the way i could curb my eating was to feel DEPRESSED.

i went for my 2nd orthodontic + extraction appt today
gone are the irritating seperators!
but say hello to my new metal teeth!
its amazing how easy the seperators come off with just a flick of an instrument
i got fitted for bands to my molars and they were cemented to my teeth
its going to stay with me for 2 whole years!
it looks like those metal teeth the ah mahs and ah gongs haveeeee

after the bands, came my extraction
yessss! my fav OMS Dr is back! :)
againnnn, i have to praise him!!
he is really good la!!
comparing last wk and tis wk's extraction, this wk was so much better
i dread dental jabs in the gums but amazingly, he can do it so nicely, i could barely feel any pain!
last wk was total hell la; and it was frm his senior consultant.
Dr. D. tan always say '' if there's a way, i wont want to charge u,''
aiyo, so niceeee la. if he volunteer to pay for me, i wont mind.

movie last night w part of my GANG was quite last min but it was a good plan! :)

1stly, the poster didnt really catch my attention.

seriously, i only recognise Angelina Jolie from the cast. i didnt think she was so sexy till this show!

anw, the exciting part is when Salt begins her run.
i kept guessing who the hell Salt was.
was she the villian or the good guy???!!!

this show again shows how easily America is being threatened by planted spys. its not a new line but the twist is really sth :)
i really hope that there would be a 2nd part to this movie coz i cant wait to see the bad guys die in the hands of a woman!

Salt is not the usual spy who uses her body to get what she wants :D

3rd year-sary

ast weekend was our 3rd year anniversary.
to be date exact, it was on national day, 9.8.10, a monday!

im not the traditional lady who would mind the big whoo-ha on the actual day
i believe, everyday is an anniversary if we treasure it well and rmb the happy times we spend tgt
HAHAHAH!
besides, i only have him on weekends now; what more can i ask of!

also, this week, i cant really eat.
seriously! my orthodontist told me i culd still continue with my daily stuff like eating.. but i just cannot!!
thank god i still have my hard pallet and tongue
i am a BIG BABY now!
every food has to be soft and super finely minced
no more nuts and green apples =C
without chewing, i can barely feel my stomach feeling satisified.
i keep craving, but no eating~

Dont say i never support SG local show hor! (anw, this show was MIM, nt in SG)
i am not a die-hard PCK fan and i rarely watched any of the tv series screen on CH5 previously. but i for sure know who PCK is.
''dont play play,'' ''best in JB, and some say Batam,'' these were his famous quotes, which made him famous. LOL

can u keep me laughing for 1 hour?
to create emotions, it is the biggest challenge of making a movie/show.
to make sth out of nothing.

this show is a can-watch, to me, its not a must-watch.
its quite entertaining to a certain extent but starts to get draggy at times
rated PG, it is good as a family show. but if u want more love, action and excitement, this might not be the right show for the mood.

comparing with the other local shows directed by Jack Neo, i still love Jack's shows (even thou he is not a gd man, but i have to give credit to his directing skills; but speacking of which, how many GOOD man can u find these days!).
Jack's shows usually peaks highly on emotions. they make me cry and laugh too hard.

this show also used the TOOooo commonly heard-of charity scams. Misusing the donated funds for personal leisure, etc.
What we want to hear is sth new! YES! a new kinda scam.... or maybe a twist in the scam?
if u can produce a show, u sure would have the ability to keep the suculent brain juices flowing and come out with more innovative ideas and plots to make the movie a better show.

in short, i still prefer the 20min sitcom PCK show on CH5.
sitcoms are short and sweet.

5.8.10 - 1st dental appt!

today's the start of my braces treatment!
my 1st appt w Dr. Anna for the insertion of the seperators + extraction of my right upper and lower pre-molars

the insertion of the 8 seperators on 4 of my teeth was a little uncomfortable.
bearable, as i guess this would be nth considered to my next and future treatments! =/
its hard to imagine how those rubber thinky-s can be pushed down the strong molars and stay stagnant there!
i felt my teeth shift as they were inserted and its pretty scarry la!! lol.
our teeth are so weak in a dentist's hands..
so much for all the calcium!
hahaha!!

a little bloody due to the right side bleeding

after the seperators, came the extraction
very disappointed!
coz i was expecting my fav OMS surgeon but he's still on reservice! =C
i purposely made the operator book an appt w him for me after much phone calls but still, she did nt give me as wad i requested. boo-hoooo...
Dr. Teh, a senior consultant did the extraction for me instead (Dr. A said she's his teacher. lol)
nvm, i think my next extraction appt wld be done by Dr. D! :)

i srsly hate the LA they give b4 the extraction!
if i culd say no to it, i dont mind going without it
the worst part of the whole extraction is the LA la....
i hate feeling the needle go inbetween my gums, den after awhile, face wld start to swell n feel numb. lol

my 2 teeth!
the upper premolar was quite a problem.
a small fragment of it remained stuck inside my gums after the 99.99% of it came out
i was so scared that surgery was needed to get it removed... lol
i need a paper bag over my head!
look at my lips after the extraction..........
i had 1 sided facial weakness and 1 side is like so swollen, i was so afraid i wld drool on my way home. lol
gawd! i still had to talk to the reception girl to settle the payment matters in such a state!

took a nap after i got home.
felt so sick after waking up =C
fever, 1st sign of infection...
no medication was given and i was only advised to take panadol if necessary
no mc for tmr alsooooo... veryyy saddd!!
i hope i'll be well tmr coz its going to be weekend soon and i wana enjoy with BF!!

i dont really feel the high atmosphere as compared to last year.

colorectal dept gave us each a handphone!!!
EVERYONE (general surgery dept only.lol!) received ONE EACH OKAY
a real one!!
seriously, who wld be so generous!
even my parents would not be willing to get me a BASIC one okay.
CLR docs are so far the nicest and easiest ones to get along with.
some said that there would be a price to pay for taking such a gift..
hopefully there would be no strings attached!
all the other depts look at us with such envy.
its still hard to believe!!!

supposed to be our 3rd yr mini celebration :)
3 yrs flew by.
i was still in poly when we 1st got tgt..
meeting him after lessons, sulking when he gave his wk end time to his family n frens
